Erick Sandstad is a former monk who pursued advanced studies in Salamanca, Spain, and Rome, Italy, at the Pontifical University Regina Apostolorum, earning both a Bachelor's Degree and a Licentiate Degree in Philosophy. He also holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Northeastern University Bouve College of Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts.
Erick is an EMDR Certified Therapist, a member of the EMDR International Association, and a Fellow of both the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD) and the International Board of Hypnotherapy (IBH). Additionally, he is a member of the Georgia Board of Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors. Erick specializes in working with complex trauma, dissociation, derealization, and depersonalization.
